Medical Review Institute of America, (MRIoA), a national Independent Review Organization (IRO), specializes in facilitating the review of medical claims to determine the appropriateness of treatments, known as Peer Review or Utilization Review.

ā¢ Covered under MRIoAs Errors and Omissions policy (traditional malpractice insurance is not applicable for review work).
ā¢ Work from anywhere within the United States (patient records cannot leave the U.S. due to HIPAA regulations).
ā¢ Independent Contractor (1099) opportunity.
Requirements:
ā¢ Board Certification in Orthopedic Surgery
ā¢ Must have some daytime availability.
ā¢ Active, unrestricted Minnesota state medical license.
ā¢ U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (we are unable to sponsor a visa).
