About the Role
As Organized Retail Crime Specialist, you will support stores and corporate partners in investigating and resolving Organized Retail Crime (ORC) cases. You will leverage all investigative tools, limit Kohl’s exposure to ORC theft and fraud, seek out and investigate all ORC activity and conduct investigations consistent with Kohl’s policies and guidelines.

What You’ll Do
Partner with law enforcement agencies to prosecute ORC activity within the assigned area

Develop and create professional case documents to support the prosecution

Analyze all investigative data involved with ORC groups, become a content expert and assume responsibility as the primary investigator on large-scale, complex or violent cases

Work with the field Loss Prevention (LP) team and provide communication and awareness to ORC in the market

Guide store LP teams on investigative plans

Attend ORCA and ORC-related meetings and court proceedings as required

Hold ORC meetings with field leadership and ROC investigators

Present regular updates to senior leadership on investigative trends and case updates

Participate in the development of training materials and conduct training for the field partners

Support ROC service calls

Additional tasks may be assigned

What Skills You Have
Required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

High School diploma or equivalent

Strong attention to detail

Excellent time management and prioritization skills

Preferred
Experience in shoplifting apprehensions, fraud investigations and retail store operations

Working knowledge of Microsoft and Google applications

Prior retail Loss Prevention experience

Ability to analyze and interpret data and summarize results

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends as needed

Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and basic computer operation

Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively and appropriately with others

Ability to satisfactorily complete company training programs

Ability to use a personal computer for tasks such as communicating, preparing reports, etc.

Ability to plan, prioritize and monitor activities across business units

Ability to complete or oversee the completion of assigned projects in a timely manner



Pay Range: $25.50 - $40.80
