Organizational Effectiveness & Change Management Consultant (Workday)

job summary: We have an 18 month contract opportunity for a Organizational Effectiveness & Change Management Consultant (Workday - Supply Chain & Finance Focus). This role is fully remote but will need to support PST business hours. Role Overview The Organizational Effectiveness & Change Management Consultant will provide end-to-end change management support for large-scale Workday implementations, with a primary focus on Supply Chain Management and Finance domains. This role partners closely with project leadership, functional SMEs, and business stakeholders to ensure successful adoption of new processes, systems, and operating models. The consultant will be embedded within one or more Workday project teams and will lead the people side of change across planning, design, implementation, and stabilization phases. location: Telecommute job type: Contract salary: $70 - 75 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: No Degree Required responsibilities: Lead change management strategy and execution for Workday Finance and Supply Chain initiatives, including Procure-to-Pay, Inventory, Strategic Sourcing, General Ledger, and Financial Reporting. Conduct stakeholder identification, impact assessments, and readiness analyses across finance and supply chain organizations. Design and deliver integrated change plans, including communication, training, engagement, and adoption strategies aligned to Workday deployment milestones. Advise executive sponsors, functional leaders, and project teams on effective change strategies and risk mitigation. Serve as a liaison between Organizational Effectiveness & Change Management teams and Workday program leadership. Partner with training teams to ensure role-based learning aligns to redesigned business processes and Workday functionality. Coach senior leaders and executives to effectively fulfill sponsor responsibilities and reinforce adoption. Support frontline managers and supervisors in leading teams through business process and system changes. Measure change effectiveness and adoption outcomes; recommend corrective actions as needed. Required Qualifications Proven experience leading change management for Workday Finance and/or Supply Chain implementations. Strong understanding of finance and supply chain business processes in complex, matrixed organizations. Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders. Experience applying structured change methodologies (Prosci, ADKAR, or equivalent). Excellent communication, facilitation, and executive-level presentation skills. Preferred Experience Healthcare, large enterprise, or shared services environments. Multi-module Workday deployments.
