We are seeking Order Entry Pharmacy Technicians for a remote position after completing 8+ weeks of onsite training in Troy, OH. This role involves accurately entering prescription data, troubleshooting discrepancies, and ensuring efficient pharmacy operations.
Duties:
? Swiftly and accurately enter prescriptions into the pharmacy system.
? Communicate with customers over the phone, providing quick and courteous responses.
? Troubleshoot prescription and patient data entry discrepancies.
? Ensure accurate and timely prescription/patient information input.
? Work with Order Entry leadership to meet department goals.
? Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
? Work with urgency and efficiency to meet pharmacy demands.
Schedule/Shift:
? 2nd Shift: Monday Friday, 3:00 PM 11:30 PM
? Every other weekend and rotating holidays.
? shift differential pay
Requirements:
? High school diploma or GED required.
? Active Pharmacy Technician registration with the State Board of Pharmacy (must be in good standing).
? Strong computer skills.
? Understanding of medical terminology and drug knowledge.
? Math and analytical skills (with a focus on calculations).
? Minimum of two (2) years of long-term care pharmacy experience preferred (but not required).
? Must be able to work onsite in Troy, OH for at least 8 weeks before transitioning to remote work.
