Oracle HCM Cloud Configuration Engineer / Oracle HCM Functional Consultant
Location:
San Francisco, CA (Remote, Travel needed once in a month)

Local to San Francisco Bay Area preferred ā Candidatel need to go on-site at least once a month at (490 Illinois Street, SF, CA 94158)
Key Skills Required
ā¢ Strong hands-on Oracle HCM Cloud configuration (Core HR, Absence, Recruiting, Compensation, Security)
ā¢ Experience with HDL (HCM Data Loader) for data loads, fixes, and updates
ā¢ OTBI reporting (operational/ad-hoc reports)
ā¢ Workflow configuration (approvals, business processes)
ā¢ Security setup (roles, data access, user roles)
ā¢ Strong understanding of HR processes (hire-to-retire lifecycle, payroll dependencies)
ā¢ Ability to analyze cross-module impacts and data flow
Responsibilities
ā¢ Configure and maintain Oracle HCM Cloud modules (Core HR, Absence, Recruiting, Compensation, Security)
ā¢ Build and manage
ā¢ Job & position structures
ā¢ Work relationships & legal entities
ā¢ Eligibility rules
ā¢ Workflows and approvals
ā¢ Security roles
ā¢ Troubleshoot configuration issues and support HR/Payroll users
ā¢ Support post-go-live stabilization and system optimization
ā¢ Review Oracle quarterly releases and assess system impact
ā¢ Work with business stakeholders to align processes with Oracle Cloud best practices (avoid customizations)
ā¢ Support data validation and integration awareness (HCM Extracts, reporting tools)
Nice to Have
ā¢ PeopleSoft background (migration or coexistence)
ā¢ Experience in large enterprise environments
ā¢ Exposure to healthcare, higher education, or regulated industries
ā¢ Experience working with legacy systems alongside Oracle HCM
