The role involves working closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring optimal system performance, data integrity, and security. The candidate will be responsible for building and optimizing database applications while supporting ongoing enhancements and troubleshooting activities.
Required Skills
ā¢ Strong experience in COBOL (6 9 years)
ā¢ Expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development
ā¢ Experience designing and creating database objects
ā¢ Ability to optimize SQL queries for performance and efficiency
ā¢ Strong understanding of database performance tuning
Required Qualifications
ā¢ 6 9 years of hands-on experience in Oracle development
ā¢ Advanced proficiency in COBOL programming
ā¢ Experience in developing and maintaining enterprise database applications
ā¢ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
ā¢ Ability to work with stakeholders to gather and translate requirements
Additional Skills
ā¢ Experience with RPG (Report Program Generator) Advanced level
ā¢ Knowledge of legacy systems integration
ā¢ Familiarity with application support and troubleshooting
ā¢ Understanding of data integrity and security best practices
