About the position We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Developer to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the development of software solutions that address the needs of our clients. As a Software Developer, you will work closely with business analysts, designers and fellow developers to produce clean, efficient code based on functional specifications. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing our existing products as well as troubleshooting and/or debugging issues. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in high-level, programming languages such as COBOL, C#, and Basic as well as a solid understanding of software development methodologies. Responsibilities • Develop and maintain software applications following best practices. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system features. • Conduct code reviews to ensure high code quality and share constructive feedback. • Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and resolve issues. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or work equivalent. • Experience in several high-level programming languages is a plus. • Knowledge of the health insurance industry is a plus. • Ability to learn new languages and technologies. • Excellent communication skills. • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team.
