Optimization Analytics Consultant - Korn Ferry

We have partnered with our client in their search for an Optimization Analytics Consultant Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Optimization Analytics Consultant with hands-on experience in process optimization and mathematical modeling using Pyomo . This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments and can translate business challenges into scalable, data-driven solutions. Key Responsibilities Design and implement optimization models using Pyomo to solve real-world business problems in areas such as Salesforce optimization , pricing strategy , and supply chain efficiency . Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Operations, and IT, to identify optimization opportunities and align solutions with business goals. Support post-implementation solutioning , reinforcing processes and driving continuous improvement across enterprise systems. Present findings and recommendations to executive stakeholders , translating technical insights into strategic decisions. Apply machine learning and AI techniques to enhance predictive capabilities and model performance. Utilize tools like AnyLogic and other simulation/analytics platforms to support scenario planning and decision modeling. Contribute to the upskilling of finance and operations teams , helping integrate optimization into daily workflows. Required Qualifications 5-7 years of experience in data science, optimization, or analytics roles. Proven expertise in Pyomo for mathematical modeling and optimization. Experience in Salesforce , pricing , or supply chain optimization projects. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence executive-level stakeholders . Understanding of AnyLogic or similar simulation tools. Familiarity with machine learning/AI concepts and their application in business contexts. Background in Operations Research , Chemical Engineering , or a related quantitative field (preferred but not required). Preferred Skills Experience in the life sciences industry or regulated environments. Exposure to enterprise systems and backend integration strategies.
