Operations Manager - Seattle
Picnic is reinventing the way employees experience lunch at work by partnering with local restaurants to provide high-quality meals. The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the order fulfillment process, building relationships with restaurants, and leading grassroots marketing efforts in Seattle.ResponsibilitiesBuild, manage and continuously improve the process related to our order fulfillment service with an eye on efficiency and efficacyHire and continually develop a happy, high-performing team of hourly staff that run the facilities and execute on the order fulfillment processMaintain and manage adherence to SOP documentation on how to operate the facilities (cleanliness, customer service, etc.)Manage the P&L for each facility, setting up processes to ensure strong financial discipline, audit and improvement on cost line itemsSupport the success of customers including facilitating efficient onboarding, addressing onsite support issues, developing relationships with 3PLs and working with sales to backfill vacant kitchens quicklyCommunicate with stakeholders to shape product roadmaps, resolve escalated issues from internal teams and escalate customer concerns ensuring a strong customer feedback loopSkillsEnergetic, operations-loving Operations ManagerAbility to build, manage and continuously improve the process related to order fulfillment serviceExperience in hiring and developing a high-performing team of hourly staffAbility to maintain and manage adherence to SOP documentationExperience managing P&L for facilities and ensuring strong financial disciplineAbility to support customer success including onboarding and addressing onsite support issuesStrong communication skills to shape product roadmaps and resolve escalated issuesStrategic problem solver with the ability to identify root causes and prioritize issuesCompetent in building scalable, efficient solutions to complex problemsAbility to monitor and improve performance using dataReal-time operations management skills with a strong bias to actionPeople management skills with a focus on building and leading a motivated teamRecent graduates welcomeDynamic, operations-focused mindsetExperience in community engagement and relationship buildingBenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurance (multiple plans, incl.
