DoorDash Labs is an independent team within DoorDash. We're hiring an experienced leader to scale our Remote Assistance function for robotics solutions solving business problems. About the Role
You will be the leading Remote Assistance Operations team at DoorDash Labs. You will lead a multinational function responsible for assisting our robots in testing and in commercial deployment. You will report to the Sr. Manager, Central Operations in our DoorDash Labs organization. You must be located in the Bay Area, CA or the Greater PHX Area, AZ and is a hybrid in-office and remote role with expectations of 60%+ in-office.

ā¢ Foster a safety-first approach to all things Remote Assistance
ā¢ Lead daily, weekly and monthly operational meetings to review and lead operational performance improvements
ā¢ Work with Product and Engineering to roadmap and implement ongoing tooling and workflow improvements
ā¢ Work with Local Operations to ensure workflows and operational handoffs are seamless with increasing scale
ā¢ Coordinate multi-city teams and implement multinational operations to provide functional redundancy and deliver consistent, cost-effective performance
ā¢ Model labor needs including autonomy improvements and scale of operations
ā¢ Maintain accountability and uptime of specialized functional equipment and terminals
You may flex to nights or weekends to oversee and spot check the team

ā¢ Experience leading remote assistance or operational programs, including large teams
ā¢ Prior experience in robotics or autonomous vehicles

Compensation
The successful candidateās starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employeeās work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

ā¢ For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.
ā¢ For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).
The national base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado.
$136,000 - $200,000 USD
