About the role
As an early hire on our operations team working closely with our Operations Lead, you'll play an integral role in helping our community thrive on VGen. Your role will be multifaceted and include the following core responsibilities:
User Support: Responding to support tickets on Zendesk, while collecting user feedback to help improve the platform
Mediation: Addressing advanced support tickets by helping to resolve disputes between artists and clients
Moderation: Engaging in on-site content moderation for scams, AI, tracing, etc.; includes reviewing user-submitted reports
Artist Verifications: Reviewing artist verification applications to promote qualified artists
Weekly Applications: Assess applications to onboard new artists onto the platform
You will be a key member of our small team that is dedicated to empowering and protecting human creativity!
Who you are
1+ year of experience in customer support or a similar customer-facing role
Strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to practice objective empathy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The ability to distinguish between AI and human-made art
An eye for digital art / content
Comfortable with high volumes of repetitive tasks
Proactive self-starter who can excel working independently and as part of a hybrid team
Ready to hit the ground running and make an impact in your first week
Nice-to-haves
Willingness to work on one of two weekend days
Enjoy watching anime / VTubers / streamers / internet culture
Artist background and experience offering commission services
Prefer Discord over Slack
Previous experience working in a startup environment
Proficient in multiple languages
