Operations Analyst

The Operations Analyst will support customers using the MarketAxess Trading platform, ensuring a smooth service experience while gaining hands-on exposure to trading workflows and client interactions. Responsibilities Support MarketAxess customers with day-to-day Trading platform queries and service requests Provide clear, professional, and timely communication to clients, ensuring issues are understood and progressed appropriately Follow established procedures and guidance, escalating issues promptly where additional expertise or decision‑making is required Accurately capture and maintain case details, actions, and outcomes in internal systems Apply correct categorization, routing, and prioritization to support effective service delivery Consistently operate in line with service standards, customer experience principles, and team ways of working Build and apply working knowledge of MarketAxess trading workflows, tools, and protocols Develop an understanding of how Client Services supports the broader trading lifecycle Use training, documentation, and on-the-job experience to steadily expand scope and confidence Work closely with Associates and Senior Associates to support client outcomes Contribute positively to team collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning Engage constructively with feedback and coaching to improve performance and judgement Identify recurring issues, process friction, or areas of client confusion Raise observations and suggestions through appropriate channels Support the adoption of new processes, tools, or service enhancements Act in accordance with MarketAxess conduct standards, regulatory obligations, and internal policies Operate within defined authority and escalation boundaries Proactively raise errors, risks, or control concerns Maintain a strong focus on accuracy, integrity, and client trust Skills 1+ years of previous experience in operations or customer service positions in the financial services sector Must be legally authorized to work in the United States permanently without employment visa sponsorship required now or in the future Prior experience in a client-facing, operations, or support role (financial services experience is advantageous but not essential) Strong attention to detail and a disciplined approach to process Clear, professional communication skills A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn Confidence to ask questions, escalate appropriately, and take ownership of your work Benefits Hybrid Environment: Our employees enjoy a mix of working in the office and from home Free Food: We provide free lunch for employees when they are working in the office.
