The Operations Analyst role combines analytical rigor, operational execution, and client communication, requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for reviewing, evaluating, and governing billing outputs produced by GeoWealth’s billing systems to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to billing methodologies for the following:Firm-level advisory billingPlatform and technology feesThird-party money manager billingReview, validate, and reconcile billing output data to ensure accuracy and completenessReview and evaluate billing calculations and outputs for accuracy, consistency, and methodology alignmentAssess billing exceptions and determine appropriate resolution approaches, including system adjustments or escalationMonitor billing outputs across cycles to identify trends, risks, or control gapsEnsure timely review and resolution of billing outputs in accordance with established billing cycles and client expectationsPerformance reporting, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness across the platformInvestigate and resolve performance discrepancies through detailed data analysisMaintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail across performance calculations and outputsPerform quality control checks and reconciliations to ensure data integrityUtilize Excel and billing systems to analyze large data sets and identify anomaliesDocument billing methodologies, processes, and assumptionsProvide subject matter expertise to advisors and internal teams on billing mattersPartner with Advisor Services and Client Support teams to assess client issues and resolve in a timely mannerAssist broader Operations and back-office teams with initiatives such as:Client and advisor onboardingReporting and data validation projectsProcess improvements and system enhancementsCollaborate with Finance, Technology, and Operations teams to support billing-related projectsParticipate in testing and implementation of new billing tools, systems, or workflows and recommend enhancementsIdentify opportunities to improve billing efficiency, accuracy, and scalabilityContribute to the development and refinement of billing procedures and controlsSupport automation and standardization initiatives as the platform growsEvaluate existing billing workflows and identify control gaps or inefficienciesContribute to the design and refinement of billing procedures, controls, and documentationPartner with Finance, Compliance, and Technology to improve billing scalability and automationSupport implementation and testing of new billing tools and process enhancementsDesign, build, and maintain Excel-based macros and automated tools to support billing calculations, validation, reconciliation, and reportingIndependently identify opportunities to automate manual billing processes and reduce operational riskEvaluate existing macros and tools for accuracy, scalability, and control effectivenessDocument macro logic, assumptions, and controls to support operational continuity and audit readinessSkillsRecent Graduates and up to 3+ years of experience in billing, operations, or financial services operationsExceptional attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to produce highly accurate work is critical to success in this roleStrong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlinesExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independentlyBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related fieldStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, macro creation)Familiarity with investment products including ETFs, equities, and mutual fundsExperience supporting advisory billing and fee calculationsPrior experience in a high-growth or fast-paced environmentExperience using enterprise billing or performance systems at a software company, fintech, TAMP, or RIA preferred but not requiredBenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision, Disability insuranceFree access to Spring Health, a comprehensive mental health solution401(k) with company match and a broad selection of investmentsVoluntary insurance: short-term disability, long-term disability, and life insuranceFSA and transit benefits for employees that contribute pre-tax dollarsFree on-site gym and nearby parkingWeekly catered lunches in the office, plus happy hoursStocked kitchen with snacks and drinksCompany OverviewGeoWealth is a technology platform offering asset management solutions for advisors.
