Operations Account Reconciler

They are seeking an Operations Account Reconciler to perform daily reconciliations of firm nostro accounts, liaise with back-office teams, and participate in month-end close activities.ResponsibilitiesComplete daily reconciliations (nostro, GL to subledger, custodial accounts, etc.) efficiently and accuratelyLiaise with back-office teams to investigate any outstanding break results, escalating when necessary to support timely resolutionsPrepare the daily submission of Key Risk Indicators for management reportingParticipate in month-end close activities (Balance Sheet Substantiations)Support evidencing for audits and control testingSeek opportunities to streamline and strengthen controls and process flows in the spirit of achieving continuous improvementContribute to procedural updates as part of any process flow or system changeSkillsA bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a closely related field is requiredSound judgement, sense of urgency and accountability; time management; organizational and problem-solving skillsAbility to execute in a high-pressure environmentExcellent interpersonal skills and team playerStrong written and verbal communication skillsComfort working with large datasets and/or general proficiency with Excel and other data analysis toolsMinimum 1 - 3 years of experience performing reconciliation activities within an operational control environment a plusExperience working with FIS Intellimatch / Data Integrity Manager products a plusFamiliarity with corporate banking payment processing systems (SWIFT, ACH, etc.) and flows a plusUnderstanding of securities trade and banking transaction lifecycles and key financial market utilities such as CHIPS, CLS, Fed, DTCC, NSCC, etc. a plusBenefitsGenerous employee benefits packageDiscretionary bonusCompetitive total rewards packageCompany OverviewThis is not your typical financial institution.
