What You Will Do
Provide support for the Global Operational Excellence/Continuous Improvement Program Management Office (PMO), including project status reporting, training, corporate reporting, and project leadership. Manage reporting of financial aspects of projects and Microsoft-based project management tools. Track project status and savings to ensure completion to goal. Ensure integration and alignment vertically and horizontally with PMO standards, across organization. Lead small scale improvement projects aligned with business strategies and priorities. Utilize Lean, Six Sigma and Change Management methodologies and have appropriate levels of experience for the role.
How You Will Do It
ย Support teams in institutionalizing a customer focus and continuous improvement mindset while successfully leading projects to ensure strategic planning and tactical execution, in accordance with Operational Excellence program directives.
ย Manage reporting of Operational Excellence project execution, performance, and financial results to ensure that organization objectives in the areas of cost, efficiency, and quality are met.
ย Direct communications with OpEx team to review and examine project progress, coordinating with the multiple team members. Provides publish-ready executive-level communications to update and promote program/projects.
ย Contribute to Operational Excellence performance metrics to ensure that organization objectives in the areas of cost, efficiency, quality, and customer focus are met. Ensure all financial reporting and models are properly approved by FP&A and delivered on time.
ย Utilize Operational Excellence tools and methodologies in business to work towards becoming a recognized Continuous Improvement practitioner and drive best in class processes.
ย Display continuously the characteristics of a change leader in the organization.
ย The ability to travel, up to 10% as required.
Education/Experience
What we look for:
ย Bachelorยs degree (BS) in relevant discipline from an accredited university.
ย Green Belt or equivalent training is required. Green Belt certification preferred.
ย 3 years of Process Improvement and/or Project Management experience or equivalent. Managerial/Leadership experience is a plus.
Technical Skills
ย Proficient with use of computer and software applications including Project for the Web, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, SharePoint, Word, Minitab, Microsoft Project. Experience in process mapping.
ย Project management skills - Ability to lead projects within budget, and in a timely manner
ย Ability to analyze data and provide insight into how it can be utilized to determine financial impact of projects
ย Ability to interface with Business and Technical Leaders throughout all levels of the organization
