Operational Due Diligence Sr. Analyst - Alternative Investments

As part of the alternative investments team within Wealth Management (WM), the primary responsibility of this role will be to support the implementation of the firm’s strategy for alternative investments. The role will involve collaboration with multiple internal groups and require strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work within tight deadlines. The Senior Analyst will contribute to the WM group’s goal of delivering a world-class alternative investments platform. This role also maintains strong relationships with LPL’s investment manager partner firms to collaboratively deliver the necessary tools, resources, and communications that help LPL Financial advisors remain competitive. Responsibilities: • Conduct operational due diligence reviews on alternative investment sponsors and products across private equity, private credit, real estate, venture capital, hedge funds, and other private market strategies. • Assess key operational risk areas including governance, compliance programs, internal controls, valuation practices, service provider oversight, and cash controls. • Review organizational structures, financial stability, background checks, and operational infrastructure of sponsors and subadvisors. • Analyze fund structures, offering terms, and documentation to evaluate operational soundness and alignment with investor protections. • Prepare well
