About the position
Responsibilities
• Track online and print press coverage and compile daily clip reports
• Update department databases such as press contacts and awards
• Support the team at publicity events
• Draft internal reporting and various press materials
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions and publicity strategy meetings
• Perform various administrative duties as needed
Requirements
• Basic knowledge of public relations
• Knowledge and excitement for Onyx Collective programming
• Proven track record to be a self-starter and effectively problem solve
• Detail oriented with strong ability in written and verbal communication
• ONE TEAM attitude with the ability and desire to interact with people at all management levels
• Superb work ethic and positive, can-do attitude
• Strong organizational skills and ability for independent work
Nice-to-haves
• Previous internship experience in public relations preferred
• Exceptional skills with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Keynote)
