ONSITE Team Bookkeeper for Cloud Bookkeeping Service
About the position Responsibilities • Gather, sort, and organize data for processing • Download bank statements and reconcile monthly bank statements • Maintain paper and virtual filing systems • Communicate with clients in a professional manner • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and maintain confidentiality • Pay and reconcile accounts payable and receivable, process payroll checks/liabilities, and journal outside payroll statements into QuickBooks • Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to team results Requirements • Basic understanding of accounting and QuickBooks Online, with preferred experience in QuickBooks Desktop • Strong mathematical skills • Able to research and produce reports • Strong written communication skills • Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced team environment • Understanding of US taxation and financial software • Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred but not required Nice-to-haves • Experience in bookkeeping (1 year preferred) • Use of Excel / Functions (1 year preferred) Benefits • Flexible schedule • Work from home • Professional development opportunities Apply tot his job
