Key Responsibilities
• Design and Implement Online Instruction: Create and apply effective online teaching strategies that cater to the unique needs of students with learning disabilities.
• Manage Digital IEPs: Develop and oversee digital Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and learning plans to support each student's educational goals.
• Provide Specialized Instruction: Deliver targeted instruction in core academic areas, adapting your approach to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Administer Assessments: Conduct and analyze virtual assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as needed.
• Collaborate with Educators: Work closely with general education teachers to ensure appropriate accommodations and modifications are implemented.
• Communicate with Families: Maintain regular, open communication with students and their families to provide updates and support.
• Engage in Professional Development: Participate in virtual staff meetings and professional learning communities to stay current with best practices and enhance your teaching skills.

Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Special Education; Master's degree preferred.
• Certification: Valid teaching license with endorsement in learning disabilities.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in special education.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in assistive technology and virtual learning platforms.
• Skills: Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a talent for differentiating instruction in an online environment.
• Personal Qualities: Patience, dedication, and a commitment to student success.
