Special Education Teacher Telehealth Opportunity
A contract position is available for a Special Education Teacher with expertise in telehealth services. This role centers on delivering specialized instruction and support remotely, facilitating access to education for students with diverse learning needs.
Responsibilities include:
ā¢ Designing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students specific needs.
ā¢ Conducting telehealth sessions that effectively engage students in a virtual learning environment.
ā¢ Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support services.
ā¢ Monitoring student progress and adjusting instructional strategies accordingly.
ā¢ Maintaining accurate records and compliance with educational regulations and policies.
ā¢ Communicating regularly with families and caregivers to support student development.
Key qualifications:
ā¢ Certification in Special Education.
ā¢ Experience delivering special education services through telehealth platforms.
ā¢ Strong knowledge of evidence-based instructional strategies and assistive technologies.
ā¢ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
ā¢ Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learner needs.
ā¢ Skilled in conducting assessments and developing IEPs in accordance with federal and state guidelines.
