Key Responsibilities
Ā Deliver personalized online instruction to meet the unique needs of students with exceptional needs.
Ā Develop and implement virtual IEPs and behavior support plans tailored to individual student requirements.
Ā Customize curriculum and design accessible digital learning materials to cater to diverse learning needs.
Ā Conduct online assessments and monitor student progress to ensure effective learning outcomes.
Ā Collaborate effectively with families and school staff to enhance student success and address concerns.
Ā Facilitate virtual IEP meetings and parent conferences to discuss student progress and set goals.
Ā Remain informed about the latest special education laws and best practices in online instruction to continuously enhance teaching methods.
Qualifications
Ā Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
Ā Valid teaching license with an endorsement in exceptional children's education.
Ā A minimum of 3 years of experience in special education.
Ā Proficient in using digital learning tools and assistive technology.
Ā Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ā Ability to create engaging and effective online learning experiences.
Ā Demonstrated qualities of patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
