Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Social Studies teacher to join our ALP team. As an Online Social Studies Teacher, you will be responsible for:
Teaching Social Studies to high school students in an alternative learning setting, which may include in-person or virtual instruction
Establishing a culture of learning that aligns with our district's mission, beliefs, and strategic plan
Inspiring and engaging students in relevant learning experiences
Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism when working with students, staff, and families
Requirements
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need:
A valid Minnesota Social Studies teaching licensure
Experience and training in Culturally Linguistically Responsive (CLR) methods or similar
Teaching experience in a high school setting with Social Studies certification and/or alternative education experience
A passion for working with diverse students and families
