Online School Psychologist - CA
A contract opportunity is available for a School Psychologist providing telehealth services, based in Fresno, CA. This role focuses on delivering psychological assessments, consultation, and support to students within an educational setting through virtual platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
ā¢ Conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results to assist in student evaluation.
ā¢ Providing counseling and therapeutic interventions tailored to students' needs.
ā¢ Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
ā¢ Offering crisis intervention and behavioral support remotely.
ā¢ Maintaining thorough documentation and ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Qualifications sought for this role include:
ā¢ Valid California School Psychologist credential or license.
ā¢ Experience delivering psychological services via telehealth platforms.
ā¢ Strong understanding of federal and state educational laws, including IDEA and Section 504.
ā¢ Excellent communication and organizational skills.
ā¢ Ability to work independently and manage a telehealth caseload effectively.
