Company Description Culver City Adult School Role Description This is a part-time two days ( Tuesday & Thursday) a week role for an Online Medical Billing and Code Instructor located in Culver City, CA. The instructor will be responsible for educating students on medical billing procedures, coding systems, and relevant healthcare regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and delivering instructional content, evaluating student progress, providing feedback, and ensuring academic excellence. The role also involves staying updated on medical billing and coding trends, maintaining compliance with industry standards, and supporting students in achieving certification and career goals. Qualifications • Proficiency in Medical Terminology to effectively teach students industry-specific language. • Knowledge of Denials and Insurance procedures, including claims processing and troubleshooting. • Expertise in medical coding systems such as ICD-10, and hands-on experience with coding practices. • Understanding of Medicare and related regulatory guidelines. • Excellent communication and teaching skills with a passion for mentoring students. • Relevant certifications in medical billing and coding (e.g., CPC, CCS) are highly desirable. • Experience in the healthcare or educational fields is an advantage.
