Online Math Teacher ( K-12th)
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and growth in mathematical concepts. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to effectively mentor students in various mathematical disciplines, including Algebra, Trigonometry, and more advanced topics.
Duties
Ā Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
Ā Teach a range of mathematical subjects, including Algebra, Trigonometry, and Organic Chemistry.
Ā Utilize instructional design techniques to create effective learning materials.
Ā Provide tutoring and mentoring to students to enhance their understanding of mathematical concepts.
Ā Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Ā Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding academic performance and areas for improvement.
Ā Collaborate with fellow educators to develop interdisciplinary projects that integrate mathematics with other subjects such as Biochemistry.
Ā Maintain an organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
Experience
Ā A degree in Mathematics or Education with a focus on mathematics is preferred.
Ā Previous teaching or tutoring experience in mathematics at the middle or high school level is highly desirable.
Ā Proficiency in instructional design and the ability to create engaging educational content.
Ā Strong background in various mathematical disciplines, including but not limited to Algebra, Trigonometry, and Organic Chemistry.
Ā Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively.
Ā Experience in mentoring students and fostering their academic growth.
