About the position Online Math and Science Tutor ThinkingStorm is a national online tutoring company seeking writing tutors to conduct live online tutoring sessions from home. Our ideal tutor has a BA/BS degree or higher in a math or science related discipline. If tutor is applying to be a math tutor, they should be comfortable teaching math levels up to Calculus, with higher levels being preferred. Science tutors need proficiency in either biology, chemistry, or physics, with preference given to those with comfortability in more than one subject. Additional consideration will be given to applicants who have experience with quantitative and/or qualitative research design, or ESL instruction. This is a great position for people who desire some flexibility in their daily schedules. Math and science tutors can fit their responsibilities around errands, graduate school courses, other part-time jobs, or family obligations.
