United States University is looking for experienced Online Adjunct Faculty to join the College of Business & Technology.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
ā¢ Asynchronous teaching in a virtual environment with a diverse student population
ā¢ Engage students in meaningful asynchronous threaded discussions at least four days per week, evaluating responses and responding to questions or comments
ā¢ Evaluate students' course content comprehension through grading of assignments, quizzes, papers, or presentations
ā¢ Bring your real-life experiences into the classroom through announcements, feedback, discussion responses, and grading
ā¢ Empower students to learn and grow through evidence-based feedback and guidance
ā¢ Set clear expectations and guidelines for each course in accordance with university policies
ā¢ Utilize effective professional communication in providing clear directions, feedback, and promoting student learning
ā¢ Attend virtual faculty meetings when you are able or watch recordings to stay current on policies
ā¢ Be available to students by answering emails within 24 hours
Education
ā¢ Master's or Doctorate degree from accredited institution depending on program requirements
Adjunct Compensation
ā¢ Course contracts are paid semi-monthly and range from $150 - $3,500 depending on instruction level and student count
