Oncology RN Navigator
Location: Dorothy Kern Cancer Department: Hematology And Oncology Weekly Hours: 20 Status: Part time Shift: Days (United States of America) Job Summary: The Oncology Nurse Navigator (ONN) is a registered nurse responsible for offering individualized assistance to patients, families, and caregivers to help overcome healthcare system barriers. Using the nursing process, an ONN provides education and resources to facilitate informed decision making and timely access to quality health and psychosocial care throughout all phases of the continuum. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • Registered Nurse Bachelor's Degree in Nursing • Minimum of 2 years experience in oncology. • Critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Certification as an oncology certified nurse and/ or certified breast care nurse.
