Oncology Pharmacist - Remote Eligible *$15,000 SIGN ON BONUS*
About the position
The Pharmacy Department at Sanford Health is seeking a full-time pharmacist to provide clinical pharmacy services focused on oncology medication management. This role involves working in an interdisciplinary team environment, either on-site, remote, or hybrid, to ensure the appropriateness of high-risk medication use for both inpatient and outpatient oncology patients. The pharmacist will also have opportunities to serve as a preceptor for pharmacy residents and participate in various committee work and projects to enhance oncology pharmacy practices.
Responsibilities
Provide clinical pharmacy services for inpatient and outpatient oncology medication management.

Review and verify all high-risk medication orders for appropriateness from clinical, financial, and policy compliance perspectives.
,
Participate in decentralized inpatient oncology team rounding and support clinical activities such as pharmacokinetics and TPN monitoring.
,
Conduct anticoagulation reviews, renal dosing, IV to PO adjustments, medication profile reviews, and antimicrobial stewardship for oncology patients.

Serve as a preceptor for PGY-2 Oncology Pharmacy Residency program and other pharmacy residents and students.

Engage in committee work and projects to elevate oncology pharmacy practice.
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
,
Thorough knowledge of drugs and their actions, as well as state and local regulations.
,
Hospital experience or residency preferred.
,
License in good standing by the State Board of Pharmacy in state(s) of practice or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
