Onchain Data Analyst & Researcher
About the Role
Our specialized onchain investigations team secures the broader crypto ecosystem by identifying, analyzing, and mitigating critical threats - including exploits and illicit activity - through advanced blockchain analytics and investigative techniques.
As an Onchain Data Analyst & Researcher, you'll lead complex investigations, proactively track threat actors, and develop scalable analytical methods to detect suspicious activity. You'll be at the center of high-stakes incidents and special projects, helping build a safer onchain future.

What You'll Be Doing
• Conduct deep-dive investigations into onchain exploits, scams, and vulnerabilities using analytics and clustering techniques.
• Document and analyze attack vectors, abuse patterns, and impacts, producing actionable intelligence to strengthen ecosystem security.
• Develop scalable detection and monitoring systems - building dashboards, writing queries, and supporting incident response with data-driven insights.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to share insights on emerging risks, exploit tactics, and mitigation strategies.
• Monitor and research threat actors and blockchain trends to stay ahead of evolving threats.
• Handle sensitive cases with discretion, urgency, and professionalism.
• Perform other duties as needed to support the mission.
What We're Looking For
• A self-driven, organized problem-solver who learns fast and works independently.
• Proven analytical and communication skills.
• Deep knowledge of blockchain ecosystems and investigative techniques.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with onchain data analysis.
• Understanding of abuse vectors and security challenges in crypto.
• Ability to leverage AI tools to enhance analytical output.
Nice to have:
• Experience in corporate OSINT or threat intelligence.
• Familiarity with tools such as Dune Analytics, Flipside, or Chainbase.
Compensation
$145K - $170K
There is a 5% annual cash bonus.
$75K annually in RSU program with no cliff and quarterly vesting schedule. Subject to multipliers based on individual performance.
