Onboarding Staff Accountants are the foundational role of our Onboarding team, the work they do supports Aduro’s newest clients and their broader team’s success. The Onboarding Staff Accountant is part of the Onboarding client service team that supports an ever-changing set of Aduro’s newest clients. This role focuses on the core data and entry-level accounting work of each client engagement. Onboarding Staff Accountants at Aduro start with the building blocks of tasks such as quarterly reporting or capital calls and work towards full ownership over time. This is a multifaceted role in that you need to be able to play the role of preparer while adapting to the needs of the clients daily.

Here is the type of work you will do:
Assists with Xero, Salesforce and FundPanel systems setups.

Reconcile banking transactions and prepare journal entries in accordance with US GAAP in Xero.

Maintain investor information, investment information, and other fund metrics in FundPanel system.

Liaise with data ingestion team to ensure onboarding templates are reconciled and uploaded accurately.

Perform detailed reviews of historical financial data and make updates to conversion balances, PCAPs, SOIs, capital calls, etc.

Oversee maintenance of entity and investment documentation, ensuring audit and tax readiness through accurate recordkeeping and document coordination.

Execute and manage capital calls, investment funding, distributions, and related investor communications, including wire confirmations and preparation.

Prepare management fee calculations and assist with quarterly financial workbooks to support accounting manager.

The salary range for the Onboarding Staff Accountant position is $60,000 - $72,500. Salary is determined based on current market data and candidate experience level.

You may be successful in this role if:
You have 1 – 3 years of work experience or professional internships in relevant accounting roles
Diverse work experience in a service focused role is a plus!

Bachelor’s degree (Finance or Accounting preferred)

You are naturally resourceful, driven and have strong problem-solving skills

You have a track record of being a project leader and have strong organizational skills

You see the value in providing excellent customer service, being thoughtful and know the details make the difference

You have working experience with Excel and Word

You are comfortable with learning new software systems and tend to be someone that likes to be proficient in any system them use

You have always had a passion for numbers and want to build your accounting career
