The Office Manager will report directly to our Palo Alto, CA office. This role will be part-time approximately 15-20 hours/week.

Responsibilities
• Manage the Talkdesk workplace, ensuring our office is welcoming to employees and visitors, and is a positive reflection of our culture and team
• Greeting incoming guests/candidates/partners/customers
• Distribute mail and deliveries and coordinate outgoing shipments (FedEx, UPS, etc)
• Handle highly confidential and sensitive information
• Manage various vendors to keep the office and kitchen stocked and running smoothly
• Keep kitchen, conference rooms and common areas tidy and ready for productive work
• Maintain office facilities and interface with building management when necessary
• Help with the planning and execution of office culture events (happy hours, celebrations, etc.)
• Assist with the People Ops team to onboard new employees
• Support with basic IT-related activities as needed
• Liaise with property management and vendors, including cleaning, catering, security services, and attend fire safety meetings

Requirements
• 2+ years of office/administrative experience in a fast-paced environment
• A friendly, positive attitude
• Skilled problem solver
• Customer-focused
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills skills
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Self-directed
• Able to adapt to change and prioritize accordingly

Work Environment And Physical Requirements

Primarily office-environment work, extended periods of sitting or standing, computer-based work. Limited lifting, and equipment usage limited to computer-related equipment (keyboards, mouse, etc.)
