About the positionResponsibilities
Conducts comprehensive pre-employment screening on new hires.
Reviews medical history and evaluates the need for further evaluation with OH physician.
Performs vision screening on all new hires and evaluates need for further testing.
Performs drug screening on all new hires and appropriately sends specimen to outside lab if required.
Obtains I-cup point of care testing and follows OH protocol for positive screens.
Reviews immunization history and determines which immunizations are required for employment and administers needed vaccines.
Draws titers if required due to no immunization/titer history.
Requirements
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Associates RN Degree or higher.
NC RN License is required.
Encouraged to self study and achieve COHN certification.
1 to 3 years experience in Nursing is required.
Nice-to-havesExperience in Med Surg, ED, Occupational Health, Public Health or Infection Control is preferred.
