Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for NQM and Jumbo Underwriters. The responsibilities include evaluating loan applications for Non-Qualified Mortgage (NQM) and Jumbo loan products, analyzing borrower financials, determining creditworthiness, ensuring compliance with company policies and lending regulations, and managing loan conditions. Underwriters will engage in collaborative efforts with loan officers and processors to ensure efficient and accurate decision-making.

Qualifications
• Experience with underwriting NQM and Jumbo loan products, including detailed knowledge of credit, income, and asset analysis.
• Proficiency in analyzing borrower documentation, such as tax returns, financial statements, and income verification reports.
• Understanding of lending regulations and compliance requirements, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Collaboration and communication skills for effectively working with loan officers, processors, and clients.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities with time management and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with mortgage software systems and tools, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of underwriting experience with NQM and Jumbo loans preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high levels of productivity.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field (preferred, but not mandatory).
