NP/PA - Cardiac Electrophysiology Remote Monitoring

A leading healthcare organization in New Haven, Connecticut, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join its Cardiac Electrophysiology team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and signing billable remote interrogations, managing clinical alerts, and initiating patient care actions when appropriate. Ideal role for a highly organized, detail-oriented provider with experience in cardiac rhythm management and device therapy. Job Function • Review and sign billable remote interrogations on a routine schedule. • Analyze cardiac device data including battery status, lead integrity, arrhythmia burden, and heart failure diagnostics. • Evaluate and manage clinical alerts from remote monitoring platforms, including new arrhythmias, device concerns, and patient-triggered events. • Collaborate with RN team to triage transmissions and escalate cases requiring provider-level intervention. • Initiate medication adjustments, diagnostic testing, or in-person evaluations as clinically indicated. • Document clinical interpretations, assessments, and plans in the electronic medical record. • Communicate findings and follow-up plans to patients, ensuring timely and appropriate care delivery. Job Requirements • Active Connecticut state license. • DEA and CSR (active or in process preferred, but not required). • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) program. • 1 year of cardiology experience; electrophysiology experience preferred.
