Summary:
CHRISTUS Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our Telehealth Urgent Care team in New Mexico. This fully remote role serves CHRISTUS associates and their dependents, delivering high-quality, compassionate care in a virtual setting. Youll work within a physician-led care team using a queue-based system and Epic EMR. PRN, 12 hour shifts, 8am-8pm
Responsibilities:
ā¢ Provide urgent care consultations via telehealth for CHRISTUS associates and their dependents
ā¢ Utilize Epic for all documentation and charting
ā¢ Work within a queue-based system, typically seeing 3-4 patients per shift
ā¢ Collaborate with a physician-led multidisciplinary care team
ā¢ Deliver care in alignment with CHRISTUS Health protocols and standards
Requirements:
ā¢ Active NP license in the state of New Mexico (required)
ā¢ Must reside in New Mexico (required)
ā¢ Nurse Practitioners: FNP certification with 5+ years in urgent care, emergency medicine preferred
ā¢ EPIC experience preferred; training will be provided
ā¢ Strong communication skills; flexible, personable, and self-motivated
