Norwegian Language Expert (Remote)

Role: Norwegian Language Expert (Remote) Location: 100% Remote (Global) Compensation: USD 35-50 per hour (paid weekly via Stripe/Wise) One of our clients is seeking detail-oriented language and transcription specialists to support a high-impact audio and video AI research project. In this role, you will help create, evaluate, and improve training data used by advanced language and speech models. What You’ll Do Transcribe and optimize audio and video content in Norwegian Create high-quality written transcriptions following detailed instructions Define and document evaluation standards for audio and consumer-facing AI content Test and review model outputs against established rubrics Participate in quality-assurance and benchmarking workflows Required Qualifications Native-level proficiency in Norwegian (spoken and written) Strong written communication and critical-thinking skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Ability to work on-site in either San Francisco (USA) or London (UK) Availability to work approximately 10–20 hours per week Preferred Qualifications Experience with transcription, content review, or linguistic data work Experience in academic, research, or analytical writing environments Work Details Independent contractor engagement On-site role in San Francisco or London Typical engagement length: several weeks to a few months, depending on project needs Structured project environment with clear goals and tools Compensation $35 to $50 USD per hour Paid weekly via Stripe or Wise Hiring Process This role uses an automated skills and language-assessment tool to evaluate job-related abilities.
