They are seeking a Network Technician to provide onsite support, implementing and managing service components such as routers and firewalls, while ensuring system reliability and performance.ResponsibilitiesPerforms site surveys, assessments, and physical inventoriesWork with other analysts and specialists to resolve incidents and problemsWork with other analysts and specialists to perform changesPerforms installations of new equipment and infrastructure which may include cabling, switches, patch panel, VOIP, firewall, routers, AP’s at customer locationsInsure availability of proper equipment for site visits including tools, cables, and hardwareSkillsHigh School or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and one year of IT experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experienceThis position requires a fingerprint-based background search. Hires must agree to a fingerprint-based background search prior to being hiredModerate knowledge of network operations, routing protocols, topologies, switching, communications services, and digital electronicsAble to assemble network components, diagnose and resolve telecom and network issues, and collaborate with technical staffCapable of applying software configuration templates to network hardwareCompany OverviewThe N.C.
