Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Palo Alto Network Security Consultant to support network security initiatives and cloud migration projects. The role involves migrating security policies from Zscaler to Palo Alto firewalls, optimizing URL filtering policies, and supporting data center extension security rules for cloud environments.
Responsibilities:
• Lead Zscaler to Palo Alto firewall policy migration
• Manage and optimize Palo Alto firewall policies and URL filtering
• Implement data center extension wave rules with application teams
• Support network security architecture, VPNs, and routing
• Collaborate with security, network, and cloud teams
• Document configurations, migration processes, and security policies
Required Skills:
• 5+ years of Palo Alto firewall administration
• Experience with Zscaler to Palo Alto migration
• Strong knowledge of URL filtering, vsys limits, and policy management
• Experience with data center security extensions / traffic segmentation
• Knowledge of network security, VPNs, routing, and cloud integration (AWS preferred)
Preferred:
• Palo Alto PCNSE certification
• Experience in regulated environments (Financial Services)
Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is between $98.00 - $105.00 per hour.
Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include [geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate].
