Network Security Analyst (Night Shift Help Desk)

About the position Responsibilities • Continuous network monitoring to detect any suspicious or hostile activities • Take actions to mitigate damage caused by such activities • Inform management of possible risks and recommend solutions • Communicate to all stakeholders as appropriate • Perform risk assessments • Document security breaches with cause, actions for further prevention, and damage assessment • Work with security team to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities • Research security enhancements and make recommendations to management • Assist in creating training for the end users Requirements • Professional experience developing and implementing new security systems, security programs, protocols and maintenance of existing systems • Excellent project management and planning skills • Strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience • In-depth knowledge of data communications and network experience of operating systems and tools • Knowledge of a variety of current and emerging technologies • Knowledge of information security solutions, including data loss prevention, intrusion detection and prevention, network security monitoring and vulnerability management • Understanding of current threats and trends in Information Security • Must have the ability to work overnight shift including weekends Nice-to-haves • Advanced skills: Palo Alto Firewalls • Industry leading knowledge of SIEM and breach detection products • SOX/HIPAA controls and policies • Information Security Frameworks (NIST or CIS Controls) Benefits • Medical, Dental and Vision Benefits • Continued Education • PTO Plan • Retirement Planning • Life Insurance • Employee discounts Apply tot his job
