Remote (only someone from PA/NY/NJ area)Roles and responsibilities:Leads network design, implementation, and performance optimizationLead troubleshooting and support activities as part of project deliveryExcellent communication skillsLead or participate in discovery and design workshopsCollaborates across teams to ensure secure and resilient connectivityMentor junior staff and provide technical guidance, strategies and escalations.Support physical installation of network and security devices, either in person or remotelyLead network assessment projects, and provide oversight for Engineering staff members in the development and presentation of findings and recommendationsCommunicate progress and status of deliverables to customer and other stakeholdersMaintain technical acumen and apply as necessaryExperience in DR set upSkills/Qualifications:14+ years of network/security implementation and/or management experience requiredStrong understanding of network routing and switching protocols requiredDemonstrated experience with WAN and backbone network protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, etc.) requiredExperience with next generation firewall technology (Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet, etc.) desirableExperience with cloud (AWS, Azure, GC) network and/or security desirableCertificates within network/security domain (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, etc.) desirableExcellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy-to-understand mannerResourceful, with the ability to work independentlyStrong time management skills and attention to detailAbility to multi-task activities with shifting prioritiesBachelor s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferredEmployers have access to artificial intelligence language tools (“AI”) that help generate and enhance job descriptions and AI may have been used to create this description.
