.NET Programmer

Remote Full-time
The .NET Programmer will work in a fast-paced Revenue Cycle environment performing all phases of application systems analysis and design. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Designs, codes, tests, and debugs complex programs. Maintains and documents programs. Analyzes and revises system logic.

Duties/Responsibilities
• Design, develop and support major and minor applications and components for Revenue Cycle operations, reporting and process improvement initiatives
• Develop web-based and non-web-based applications
• Design, develop, test and deliver initial release, enhancements and resolution for applications and components
• Design, develop, test and implement automated process improvement tools
• Perform analysis on and recommend improvement strategies for current technical solutions being used
• Use key elements of the System Development Life Cycle to create clear and concise program specifications to ensure that customers’ expected return on programs are met
• Create/Update user manuals and FAQs for the applications and systems to ensure users understand how to use it
• Monitor application operations and respond to problems
• Analyze issues with application operations and propose solutions
• Takes ownership of and troubleshoot problems and follow through to resolution
• Work as a team member to assist as needed
• Represent the Company in a positive manner through professional conduct, attitude, and appearance
• Understand and comply with company policies and procedures
• Follow company confidentiality and security policies and procedures
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management

Required Skills/Knowledge
• Microsoft products and OS knowledge required
• Analytical and critical thinking skills required
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Project management and execution abilities required

Education/Experience
• Associate degree in Information Systems or one year of directly related experience in IT Support, required
• Net framework programming experience required
• DB2 / MS-SQL experience preferred
• ETL / Data Integration experience preferred
