Position: .NET Developer with Kafka & Azure Location: 100% Remote Duration: 6-12 Months Job Description We are seeking an experienced .NET Developer with strong expertise in Kafka-based event-driven architectures and Azure Cloud services. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using modern .NET technologies and distributed messaging frameworks. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain backend services and microservices using C#/.NET Core/.NET (latest versions). Design and implement event-driven systems leveraging Apache Kafka (topics, partitions, producers, consumers, stream processing). Integrate and deploy applications using Azure services such as Functions, App Services, AKS, Event Hubs, Cosmos DB, Azure Storage, and Key Vault. Build scalable microservices and RESTful APIs supporting high-volume data processing. Manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes (AKS). Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep. Work with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams to deliver high-quality, tested code. Monitor system health, performance, and reliability with proper logging and alerting practices. Required Skills: Proficient in C#, .NET Core, and microservices-based development. Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka or Confluent Platform. Strong background in Microsoft Azure cloud ecosystem. Good understanding of distributed systems, messaging patterns, and serialization formats (JSON, Avro, Protobuf). Experience with Docker, Kubernetes/AKS, and IaC tools. Familiarity with CI/CD best practices and DevOps culture. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
