Need Transcript Proofreader/Editor for Weekly Work (2-2.5 Hours Per Week)
We are a small ed-tech language training (ESL) company with a popular podcast. We are looking for a proofreader/editor who is detail-oriented and highly accurate to edit and correct our AI generated transcripts (in American English). This is a weekly task. It takes 2-2.5 hours per week. The 4 transcripts will be ready for editing every Monday by 12noon MT/2pm ET and the work must be done by Wednesday End of Day (EOD). How the work is done: You will use the editing system in Rev.com to listen to each episode (total of 4 episodes each week), follow along on the transcript, and make changes as you notice AI transcription errors. You will fix errors like mis-spellings, wrong attribution of speaker, incorrect capitalization, or completely incorrect words or sentences, and more. Skills you need to succeed: - Detail-oriented - Deep concern for accuracy - Consistent, reliable, self-driven - Able to meet deadlines week after week without fail This job includes a lot of autonomy and flexibility but you will have support and training as well as ongoing feedback. This will be a long-term, ongoing job for the right candidate as we publish these transcripts every week.
