Need children’s illustrator for vibrant, cartoonish illustrations for book about university mascot - Contract to Hire
I am writing a children’s book about the mascot at the university where I work. This will be about him as a child, and my plan is for each book to align with one of the 12 tenets the university follows. I’ve already been told that to get officially licensed, I need to show the licensing committee a completed manuscript with illustrations. Once approved, I will move forward with the other 11 books. I’m looking for a cartoonish style with an oversized head (the mascot is a bulldog) and all the other characters that show up in the story would also be some type of dog. The first book will show the tenet “hope”, and will be about the main character having to move to a new town and leave all of his friends behind. I am attaching a picture of our mascot for reference.
