Job Summary:
As National Director, Consultant Relations, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic account operating plan that ensures profitable access across key business units. You will lead internal cross-functional teams, integrate with key executives, and negotiate profitable customer contracts. Your expertise in executive presentation, negotiation, and sales will be essential in driving business objectives and leading organizational change.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and foster alliances with national accounts to drive business growth and enhance competitiveness
Lead internal cross-functional teams to enhance business objectives and market share
Negotiate profitable customer contracts and direct customer initiatives
Facilitate executive-to-executive interactions and meetings
Collaborate with internal teams to identify business opportunities and drive results
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, executives, and internal teams

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of experience in direct sales and account management for national accounts in the healthcare space
At least 5 years of experience in executive or C-suite presentation, negotiation, and sales
Experience negotiating with outside vendors, including contracts, prices, and service issues
Strong financial acumen and experience developing strategic initiatives
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time for business purposes

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree or MBA
Experience working in the benefits/healthcare consulting industry
Existing customer relationships with healthcare and benefits consulting firms
Experience in healthcare industry specifically related to B2B/payer segment
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Suite
