National Accounts Manager, Target & Meijer

We are looking for a strategic and results-oriented National Account Manager to lead our business with Target and Meijer. This role is critical in driving growth, building strong customer relationships, and executing joint business plans that align with both customer and company goals.

Location: This is a remote opportunity. Candidates must reside in Boston, Massachusetts or Central U.S.

A Day in the Life…
• Customer Strategy & Planning : Develop and manage comprehensive customer plans for Target and Meijer, including promotional strategy, assortment planning, and new item execution.
• Customer Engagement : Serve as the primary point of contact, building strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver tailored, value-added solutions.
• Execution & Measurement : Implement strategic initiatives and measure performance against key KPIs to ensure alignment and success.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with internal teams (Sales Strategy, Marketing, Revenue Management, Supply Chain) and external brokers to ensure flawless execution and alignment with customer expectations.
• Financial Management : Own trade budget planning, deduction management, and P&L accountability for both accounts.
• Forecasting : Lead monthly volume forecasting and demand planning to ensure supply alignment and business accuracy.
• Adaptability & Communication : Thrive in a fast-paced environment by being comfortable with change, navigating ambiguity, and engaging in difficult conversations with professionalism and clarity—both internally and externally.

What We Are Looking For:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in CPG sales, with a strong preference for experience managing Target and/or Meijer accounts.
• Proven success in customer planning, trade fund management, and sales forecasting.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to influence across functions and levels.
• Experience working with brokers and cross-functional teams.
• A collaborative mindset and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach

Education:

Bachelor’s or University Degree (Required)
