Read on… THE ROLE Insomniac Events is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Operations Coordinator to join the Insomniac Music Group team in Los Angeles. This position support cross-team collaboration, manage timelines and assets, and keep projects moving efficiently. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Operations, Insomniac Music Group. This is not a remote position. RESPONSIBILITIES β€’ Support project and task management across departments (Operations, A&R, Marketing, Promo, etc.) β€’ Organize and maintain backend metadata, digital assets, and contract files to ensure accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across platforms β€’ Ensure metadata integrity and oversee backend systems for release setup and execution β€’ Coordinate timelines, assets, and communications for upcoming releases β€’ Serve as a central point of contact between internal teams and external partners β€’ Provide day-to-day administrative support, including scheduling, note-taking, and documentation β€’ Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and help ensure all project milestones are met on time β€’ Coordinate with pub & sync team on various initiatives β€’ Other responsibilities and projects as provided by the Operations Manager and Director QUALIFICATIONS β€’ 2+ years of experience working in label and radio or related Entertainment Industry experience β€’ Passion for Electronic Dance Music a must β€’ Keen ability to work on a variety of projects at various stages and scopes β€’ Ability to general original ideas, and to think creatively about how to communicate them to audiences β€’ Extensive knowledge of subjects relevant to specific dance genres β€’ Knowledge of recording and publishing rights β€’ Proficient uses of variety of metadata entry and experience with revenue sources β€’ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects β€’ Excellent communication skills: both in person and digital and online platforms β€’ Demonstrated experience managing time, cost, risk, quality, resources, assets, and changing requirements β€’ Proficiency in MAC/PC β€’ Well versed in Microsoft Office Suite and Google docs β€’ Basic understanding in project management tools (i.e., ClickUp, MS Project, JIRA, Basecamp) WORK ENVIRONMENT β€’ Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments β€’ May work in drastic temperature climates β€’ Must be willing to travel to work during holidays, evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines Applicants for employment in the US must possess work authorization, which does not require sponsorship by Insomniac for a visa.
