Muncie, IN | Paraprofessional (Para) Needed for Elementary Students

We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable paraprofessional to join our school team! This position offers the opportunity to support elementary students, focusing on areas with the most need. Candidates must be flexible, patient, and ready to make a positive impact on students' daily lives, including assisting with special education and general education classrooms.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct support to students in various grade levels (K-4th grade) in academic, behavioral, and life skills.
• Assist with the implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans.
• Be flexible with assignments, helping in different classrooms and areas based on the needs of the day.
• Assist with personal care needs, including diapering and hygiene for students who require it.
• Collaborate with special education teachers, behavior analysts, and other support staff to create a supportive learning environment for students.
• Foster a positive, nurturing, and inclusive environment for students of all abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Associate or Bachelor's Degree
• Previous experience working with children and students of varying ages and abilities is a plus.
• Willingness to change diapers and assist students with personal care as needed.
• Ability to adapt to different classroom settings and student needs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Benefits:
• Hourly Pay: $20-22+ depending on experience
