The Multifamily Finance Super NOFA Specialist will be responsible for program implementation of state-funded multifamily housing programs, conducting research, and preparing complex NOFA and application documents in line with program guidelines and regulations. Responsibilities Conduct research, collect and analyze programmatic and housing data Assist with preparing complex NOFA and application documents in conformance with program guidelines, regulations and statutory requirements Work independently on varied day-to-day activities associated with NOFA funding rounds, application review, scoring, underwriting, award of funds, technical assistance, and preparation of standard agreements Skills Must submit a Statement of Qualifications along with your application Must submit a completed Employment Application (STD.678) Must provide work experience, dates, hours worked, contact names, and phone numbers of supervisors on the state application Must pass a pre-employment background check conducted in California Must reside in California for telework eligibility Must comply with HCD Disclosure Requirements regarding Conflict of Interest Code Must utilize the federal E-Verify system for employment authorization verification Company Overview As one of the largest states in the nation, California proudly celebrates its diversity— from its diverse geography to the diversity in the millions of people who call California “home.” Working to ensure the housing needs in such a large and varied state is no simple task, and California’s housing-affordability challenges are well-documented.
